A regular dodecahedron is a Platonic solid, a polyhedron with 12 pentagonal faces, 20 vertices, 30 edges, and 160 diagonals. The shape also describes that of the twelve-sided die, or the "d12," the most magnificent and noble of the standard set of polyhedral gaming dice.
A dodecahedroid is that, but a little bit off.
